The Affordable Act is so confusing...and now its at the heart of TWO of the longest government shutdowns is history. I review brief history on what it did well, its intentions, its faults, and my thoughts on a bipartisan solution. Its time we admit poor people get different healthcare than rich people. Its not how it should be; but working in a county hospital, I know its how it is. We should have 2 systems - a state based, federally backed Medicaid for all that provides for everyone's basic healthcare and dignity, and the private insurance market for all the bells and whistles.
